Purchasing Clerk

Main Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requests and ensure follow-up;
• Collaborate with the Sales and Planning departments to ensure timely procurement based on operational needs;
• Identify and contact potential suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and follow up as needed;
• Communicate key information to the Purchasing Management and Internal Sales teams;
• Accurately maintain procurement and supplier databases.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
• Work Experience: Previous experience in procurement or a related field, ideally in a similar industry;
• Organizational Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively;
• Team Spirit: Strong collaboration skills with various departments to achieve shared goals;
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a solid understanding of other MS Office tools;
• ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with Epicor ERP (an asset).
